Hey everyone -
I didn't realize it had been so long since I gave you all an update. It's been a crazy two years to say the least.
I am still getting chemo but I am supposed to be done this October (woohoo!). I spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital. My last admission being in September of last year for a mysterious fever. My immune system is weak because of the chemo they have me on, so anytime I get a fever over 100.3*F I am supposed to go to the hospital and get admitted and given tons of antibiotics until it goes away.
Being in and out of the hospital so much combined with the chemo, I lost a lot of my muscle mass and I have been slowly gaining it back. I went from needing to use a wheel chair a lot of the time, to a walker, then the cane I currently use. I've come a long way from where I was a year and a half ago, but I still have a long ways to go.
Because of my physical health I had to kind of put photography on the back burner for a while but I am hoping as i continue to improve that I will have more opportunities to get back into that. I started crocheting 3 years ago and have had a lot of fun with this new hobby. I've made a lot of stuff and have even sold some items locally. I've contemplated starting an Etsy, but I'm not sure if I'm ready for that yet
As for other things that have been keeping me busy, I became a volunteer admin for an awesome project and Facebook group called Buy Nothing (buynothingproject.org/). You may or may not have heard of it. It started about 3 years ago in my own state, Washington, and has spread across the globe. I love the concept of what the project is about and how it's allowed me to become more involved in my community. Being an admin has been interesting and I've learned a lot from it and learn new things every day.
Anyways - I hope you all have been well!

Bad News + Short Absence
UPDATE:
So I'm back finally. I've spent the last 3 months in and out of the hospital. I'm doing alright, just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive. Still have a long road ahead of me with treatment. Thanks for your support and good luck wishes :) I could use all the luck I can get
Hello watchers,
So I have some unfortunate news.
I was diagnosed with Leukemia on June 23. I have been in the hospital getting treatment the last couple days and I was just started on Chemotherapy this morning. Due to my treatment, I will be pretty under the weather for a little while so I probably won't be on here much for the next month or so, dep

Also, if you have a few points you wouldn't mind getting rid of, there is a donation pool on my page above the comment section to help support our group contests. Prizes are small in our contests (15 points rewarded to 1st place winner only) so a small amount of points will go a long way :)
If you donate, you will get to choose any deviation in your gallery (keep it pg-13 please, no nudity) and it will be featured in the "Donations for Contests" journal below alon

Spring Fun
Had an awesome start to Spring this year!
Yesterday I got to go to a local Spring Fairy Festival and meet Amy Brown! I got a beautiful signed print from her. So exciting. I've been a fan of Amy Brown since I was about 12 or 13. But I never knew until recently that she is local!
Anyways I thought I would share that. I don't get to do fun things like that often, but I'm hoping to get out and do more this year.
Next stop is a live classic/folk music show at the Antique Sandwich Cafe next weekend, can't wait!
I hope all of you are doing well and having a good spring so far :)
Oh, if you don't know who Amy Brown is I suggest you go check out
